Gunman shoots Pizza Hut employee, turns gun on himself

DECATUR, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

DeKalb County police said a man shot and killed a Pizza Hut employee before killing himself Saturday.

Police rushed to the restaurant on Wesley Chapel Rd. and Covington Highway after someone called 911.

Police said 23-year-old Josgua McMcolley went to the restaurant to confront his ex-girlfriend, an employee at the business.

According to police, 34-year-old Samuel Wallace, also an employee, somehow became involved in the confrontation.

McMcolley shot Wallace and then turned the gun on himself, police said. Wallace died Monday.

"Police shut down the area and put a line up to keep people back and away," said Craig Gunn, who works nearby. "I was inside the emission shop inside a car and a lady ran over and said someone had been shot."
