FULTON COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Larry Livers could not be happier.
"It's awesome," Livers said.
Crown Communities sent contractors out to the Broadstone subdivision in South Fulton County on Friday to begin fixing a sinkhole problem. This comes after CBS Atlanta News started asking the tough questions on Wednesday.
The sinkholes surfaced about two months ago and Livers said they were literally swallowing up his backyard.
"We're glad to see them out here and it shows their commitment is to doing the right thing and getting this all taken care of," Livers said.
Livers said workers took down his fence and dismantled his deck so they can get to the bottom of the problem next week.
"CBS asks the Tough Questions, no doubt," he said.
Crown Communities will dig up the sinkholes next week and fill them with compact soil to prevent the problem from happening again.
