DULUTH, GA (AP) -

Scheduling conflicts might lead Georgia's state high school wrestling tournament to leave the arena that's hosted the event since 2006.

The Gwinnett Daily Post reports that the tournament's typical date -- the third weekend in February -- has already been booked at the Arena at Gwinnett Center for 2013. The Duluth arena, one of Georgia's largest, is hosting a circus during that time period.

Authorities say other events planned for the arena, including Gwinnett Gladiators home games, leave the wrestling tournament with few options for other weekends. Georgia High School Association Executive Director Gary Phillips says moving the tournament to dates during the week would not work because athletes would then be out of school for three full days.
