Police, FBI searching for Union City bank robber

UNION CITY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

FBI Atlanta, along with the Union City Police Department, is trying to identify an armed bank robber responsible for robbing Best Bank on Wednesday.

The bank is located inside Kroger at 4550 Jonesboro Road in Union City.

A man entered the bank armed with a handgun, police said.

According to police, he then went to the teller counter and demanded money.

The man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He is described as being in his mid-40s, dark complexion, 6'0", 190-200 lbs. with a possible mustache.

The man is considered armed and dangerous.
