Grady Memorial Hospital: Public helps identify hit-and-run victim

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Grady Memorial Hospital officials have identified a victim involved in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Buford Highway and North Druid Hills Road.

The hospital asked for help to identify the man on Monday.

On Wednesday the patient was identified by people who saw the information on the Mundo Hispanico Facebook page.

Several people contacted the newspaper and several called Grady Social Services Department, all with the same name which turned out to be correct.

The hospital said the victim's family does not live close to Atlanta.

The victim arrived at Grady on February 5 at 1:57 a.m.
