Overturned semi blocks eastbound I-20 ramp to I-75/85 north

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

An overturned semi has caused the ramp from eastbound I-20 to the northbound Downtown Connector to shut down.

According to a spokesperson with the Georgia State Patrol, a fire started from a diesel spill after the truck tipped over. Road crews were able to contain the spill.

The driver of the truck was injured, but the extent of the injuries weren't released.

Police haven't said how long it will take to clean up the accident or when the ramp will reopen. The truck was transporting marble and particle board.
