ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Atlanta police officers hit the streets in Northeast Atlanta trying to gather leads on a murder case before it turns cold.
Antwoin Full's family members were emotional, but that didn't stop them from going door to door, desperately searching for answers.
Police say last year, they canvassed neighborhoods 14 times, and 10 of those resulted in new leads.
Wednesday night, Antwion's wife and the woman who gave birth to his children both want to know who killed him.
"Anything, anything anybody can tell them it doesn't matter, just find them," said a tearful Toya Patterson. "Just turn yourself in, please."
Patterson fought to hold back her tears - the father of her children was shot and killed on Parkway Drive just days before Christmas 2011.
"I don't know what happened, but my children's father got killed out here and I just wish whoever did it would turn themselves in," said Patterson.
"The purpose of us coming out and doing this canvass is to hope to develop some information on a couple of homicides that now are being investigated," said Atlanta Police Sergeant Robert Porter.
Detectives, street cops and mounted patrol scoured a Northwest Atlanta neighborhood, hoping to gather new leads before justice slips away.
"Out of the 14 canvases, we were able to develop significant leads and/or arrests on at least ten of them," said Porter. "This is a very good tool to use."
Javeta Johnson wore a shirt in memorial to hear slain husband - she says her family is desperate for answers.
"Whoever did this, I hope that they can come to the light, and tell and say and admit that they did it," said Johnson.
Police said they still need your help. If you have any information, Full's family begs you to call police.
