GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Police in Gwinnett County may soon be allowed to use radar guns again.
The state refused to issue police permits for radar guns after a lawsuit was filed by several cities in Gwinnett County.
The cities questioned how much they pay the county for services like police and fire protection.
On Tuesday, the Gwinnett County Commission approved a proposed settlement that would end the stalemate.
Details of the deal won't be released until the cities involved and a judge signs off on it.
