Report: Woman busted with heroin in jail parking lot

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A woman was arrested on drug charges Monday when she went to visit someone in the Gwinnett County Jail.

A deputy spotted Haley Spears in the parking lot sitting in her car holding a small silver spoon and syringe.

Spears was escorted into the Jail and arrested.

Police say the spoon was checked and tested positive for heroin.

Spears was charged with schedule I, crossing the guard line with drugs and possession of drug related objects a misdemeanor.
