ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Some members of the Atlanta Falcons helped students at a local all-girls school celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day Wednesday morning.

Falcons' cornerback Dominique Franks and offensive lineman Garrett Reynolds spent the morning working out with 9th and 10th grade girls at the Coretta Scott King Young Women's Leadership Academy High School in northwest Atlanta.

National Girls and Women in Sports Day, celebrated Feb. 1, began in 1987 to commemorate volleyball Olympian Flo Hyman for her contribution and influence on women's sports.
