Cobb firefighters battle overnight church fire

COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Fire crews were able to prevent a fire that destroyed a work and storage shed from spreading to nearby buildings.

The fire was reported around midnight Tuesday on the property of the Open Bible Tabernacle church on Lorene Drive in Marietta.

The church's website says the church has been in the same location for over 50 years and is also home to Cobb County Christian School, which has students from preschool to high school.

There were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
