GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Members of the Duncan Creek Congregational Church have good news to share Monday night after a historic 100-pound bell was stolen last week.
A member noticed the bell was missing Jan. 24, but a deacon at Duncan Creek Congregational Church in Buford said it was found Monday in Jackson County.
Members said the bell represents the more than 150-year history of the church. The bell is a replica of a similar bell the church had before World War II.
Police did not say anything about arrests. Stay with CBSAtlanta.com for details on this story.
