COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Cobb County police are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Sunday on I-75 north of Hickory Grove Road.
According to investigators, driver of a yellow 2001 Ford Mustang, Michael York, 32, was traveling north on I-75 north of Hickory Grove Road when he lost control of his car.
As the vehicle exited the left side of the roadway, it went down an embankment and collided with a tree in the center median.
York died as a result of his injuries.
York's passenger Hysie Allen, of Douglasville, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
