VILLA RICA, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Police in Villa Rica are investigating a string of residential burglaries involving the same getaway car in each case.
Detectives recovered a video that showed a silver Nissan Maxima backing up to the garage door of a house on Barberry Dr. in Villa Rica that was burglarized.
On January 5, a neighbor reported a similar car speeding away from a house on Red Branch Dr. That house was also burglarized.
On January 27, a witness told police two men in a silver Nissan Maxima parked near the garage door of a house on Gold Creek Ct.
Police say one of the men kicked in a door and opened the garage. A few minutes later the garage door opened, and the vehicle was seen speeding away from the scene.
The suspects are described to be late teens to early twenty's. The suspects are taking flat screen TV's and other electronics in the burglaries.
The video shows that the Nissan has tinted windows and an elongated moon roof.
