Man charged with murder in Stone Mountain shooting

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

DeKalb police have made an arrest in connection to a shooting that took place in Stone Mountain.

A witness told police Howard Antoine Weems, 23, was fighting with another man in the parking lot of 3300 Summit Lake Drive.

During the argument, the men started firing guns until Weems shot the 29-year-old victim, according to DeKalb police reports.

The victim was taken to an area hospital by a citizen. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
