SUWANEE, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Tears filled 12-year-old Nadia McCree's eyes when she talked about a problem she said she's having with one of her classmates.

"She's just been really mean to me lately. I didn't do anything to hurt her. I want to know why she's doing this," said Nadia.

Nadia is a seventh grade student at Riverwatch Middle School in Forsyth County. She said a classmate has bullied her. Nadia's mom, Leslie, said the problem started in December during lunch period.

"She (the alleged bully) bumped into her (Nadia) and made her tray fly up and her food fell onto the floor," said Leslie McCree.

On Monday, there was another incident involving Nadia and the same child.

"She pushed me against the white board on purpose and I almost fell," said Nadia.

Nadia's mom said after the incident Monday, school officials placed the other child in another classroom, but on Wednesday there was a third incident.

"They shoved me into the door and I almost fell," said Nadia.

Nadia's parents said they are fed up and they want answers.

"We couldn't get information on what was actually done, just that it was handled. Yet another incident occurred and we were told again it was accidental, it was handled," said Leslie McCree.

CBS Atlanta reporter Tony McNary spoke on the phone with the father of the other child involved. He asked us not to reveal his identity or his child's.

He told McNary the school's principal told him all the incidents were investigated and unfounded.

He doesn't want his daughter labeled as a bully. He takes those allegations very seriously and wants to get to the bottom of it.

He said that after the second incident, he asked the principal to set up a meeting with both girls and their parents, but he said the principal told him Nadia's parents didn't want to meet with him.

The McCrees said that's not true, they also asked the principal to set up a meeting.

"So that we can try to craft out some type of agreement or work on something, or just try to get down to the issue, so that the kids can function together. We were told again by the principal. The matter has been handled," said Leslie McCree.

District spokeswoman Jennifer Caracciolo said she could not comment on this specific situation, but the district takes bullying allegations very seriously.

"If there is an incident that occurs, we do look at it. We interview the students that are involved and we talk with the parents. We do have to sit down and determine if an incident is considered bullying," said Caracciolo.

Nadia's father said if investigations did occur, they were not told.

"They won't present us any type of documentation as far as their investigation are concerned, none whatsoever. The just say the situation has been resolved," said William McCree.
