Grammy nominees walk red carpet

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Some of Georgia's most talented musicians walked the red carpet Tuesday night at the W Hotel downtown. The Recording Academy Atlanta Chapter threw the party to honor all of the Grammy nominees from the Peach State.

One of the nominees in attendance was engineer Miles Walker, who is nominated for both Record and Album of the Year, for his work on Katy Perry's "Firework" and Rihanna's Loud.

Several of the nominees for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song also were there including Laura Story, nominated for "Blessings," Jamie Grace Harper, nominated for "Hold Me," and Louie Giglio, pastor of Passion City Church who helped write the song "I Lift My Hands."

Some past Grammy winners were there as well including Ludacris, Kristian Bush of country group Sugarland, Jerry Peters of Earth, Wind & Fire, and members of Collective Soul.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will air Sunday, Feb. 12 right here on CBS Atlanta at 8 p.m.
