Woman's purse stolen at East Point bank

EAST POINT, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Around 11:50 a.m. Monday, a woman was attacked as she was entering the Wells Fargo Bank in East Point.

She was injured when the bold thief shot pepper spray repeatedly in her eyes and ripped her purse right out of her hands. The victim is so shaken, she doesn't want us to reveal her identity.

The man ran from the bank, however a red sedan was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed immediately after the robbery.
