Fire crews battle fire on airport roof

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Atlanta fire responded to a report of a fire on the roof of an airport operations facility late Wednesday.

An Atlanta Fire Department representative said the fire was reported at the Delta Technical Operations Center, building one, just after 11 p.m.

Delta Airlines spokesperson Gena Laughlin said a portion of the facility on Aviation Blvd was evacuated but no one was injured.

Laughlin did not have any information on the cause of the fire or damage to the building or equipment.

The fire was contained to the roof of the building.
