ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Occupy Atlanta plans a march to Chase Bank on Friday at 4:15 p.m.
Protestors will start at a home on Glen Iris in Atlanta and march to Chase Bank to speak out against foreclosure.
Occupy Atlanta began two occupations of homes being foreclosed upon as a result of what they say are irresponsible banking practices.
"We've been fielding dozens of phone calls and emails over the last month from struggling home owners. It just so happens that Chase bank keeps coming up. Whether it's 103-year-old Vita Lee, wounded Iraq war veteran Brigitte Walker, or the bereaved family of Eloise Pittman, Chase Bank seems to be especially callous in their pursuit to put hard working Americans out of their homes this Holiday season," said Occupy Atlanta spokesman Tim Franzen in an email.
