Rapper Gucci Mane asks for reduced sentence in battery case

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Radric Davis, also known as rapper "Gucci Mane," appeared in the State Court of DeKalb County hoping to reduce his sentence for pushing a woman out of his car on January 28, 2011.

On September 13, 2011, Davis plead guilty to two counts of battery, two counts of reckless conduct, and disorderly conduct.

The victim and her attorney, BJ Bernstein, was present in court and will have an announcement immediately following the proceedings.
