Jury selection to begin for man charged with killing wife, driving around with body

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

On Monday jury selection will begin in the trial of a 47-year-old man accused of killing his wife and driving around with her body.

Dennis Allaben is accused of killing his wife, Maureen on January 3 in their Doraville home last year.

A DeKalb police report said Allaben drove to his relatives' home in Chesterfield, Va., and dropped off his two children while Maureen's body was in the trunk.

Police say Allaben later turned himself in.

Maureen Allaben was a food stylist and was working as a decorator for the Mo'Nique comedy show on BET.
