Man shot and killed in Northwest Atlanta

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Police are searching for a pair of men who are suspected of robbing and killing a man in northwest Atlanta early Saturday.

Around 3:40 a.m. APD units went to Westmoor Drive and Mayson Turner Road regarding a person shot. They found a deceased male at that location. Witnesses told them they saw one or two men running from the area.

Detectives are still trying to identify the victim who had no identification. They think his wallet may have been stolen after the assault.

Officer John Chafee, a spokesman for the Atlanta Police Department, says they have made no arrests and have few leads at this time.
