Pedestrian struck on Cobb Parkway

MARIETTA, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A man was struck late Tuesday night on Cobb Parkway, just north of Windy Hill Road in Marietta.

Officer Jenny Murphy with Marietta police said the man was crossing the busy road on the northbound side outside the crosswalk.

The victim was taken to Kennestone Hospital where his condition is unknown.

The car that struck the man remained on scene, according to police.

No charges have been filed at this time. The incident is under investigation.
