ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Atlanta police are searching for a missing woman.

Yusef Mujahid said his two-year relationship with his son's mother, Athena Curry, had turned violent.

"It turned into a fight. I got stabbed. She stabbed me with some scissors," Mujahid said.

Mujahid admitted to physically fighting 20-year-old Curry.

On May 27, he said they got into yet another fight after Curry found pictures of other women on his phone.

Mujahid said Curry stormed out the house and never returned.

He said he did not know where she was or whether she was in danger.

Aisha Magee said her sister's disappearance was out of character.

"She hasn't contacted her best friend, not mom and dad, she hasn't called to check on her son in three weeks," Magee said

Atlanta police are searching for Curry, who has been missing since last month.

Police said Curry's family says she was last seen at 1485 Beecher Street.

Her family says she would never leave her son, and worry she may be in danger.

Curry is 20 years old, 5'8", and weighs approximately 150 pounds.

She has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Atlanta Police Department's Adult Missing Persons Squad.
