Jeff Chirico is an Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter who joined CBS Atlanta's Tough Questions Team in March 2010.
Jeff has won four Emmys, including one for a series of stories that led to the arrest of a manufactured home dealer.
Jeff moved to Atlanta from Scranton, Pennsylvania where he worked for WBRE-TV as the consumer investigator.
Before that, he reported and produced documentaries for a Public Broadcasting Station in Bethlehem, PA. There, he earned three Emmy's and an Edward R. Murrow award for his historical documentaries.
Jeff is a graduate from the University of Scranton with a degree in Communication and Philosophy. After graduation, Jeff participated in a service and immersion trip to Ecuador and lived for a short time among the poorest in that country. It opened his eyes to the inequality and injustices in that country.
Jeff is also a member of Toastmasters International, a club that helps participants improve their public speaking and leadership skills. In his first year in the club, Jeff won third place in the district humorous speech competition.
Jeff, a native Pennsylvanian, is thrilled to be living in the friendly South. In his spare time, Jeff stays busy with his two dogs –one of which is a rescue from Hurricane Katrina. Jeff also enjoys traveling and exploring his new home state.
