CBS Atlanta is seeking an experienced Promotion Writer/Producer/Editor. Functions as the writer/producer/editor of CBS Atlanta promotional spots as assigned. Responsible for conceiving and crafting advertising messages that attract viewers to CBS Atlanta. Will primarily produce on-air promotion for 11pm News, but other duties will be assigned.

Experience: Minimum one year experience as TV News writer/producer/editor.

Skills and Abilities: Able to write, produce and edit compelling teases under tight deadlines. Good news judgment is essential. Must have a passion for news promotion and possess superior interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential to this position.

Specific Knowledge: Understanding of systems/functions of television news. Familiarity with advertising/marketing principles as well as writing, editing, production tools and graphics. Working knowledge of non-linear editing.

Education: Four year college degree preferred, preferably in Media Communication, Journalism or Broadcasting.
