Michael Vick is not sure how fans will react when he enters the Georgia Dome on Sunday. He arrived in Atlanta on Saturday with his current team the Philadelphia Eagles. He spoke to reporters briefly at the hotel

He said, “Hopefully, it will be a warm reception that I’ll get. You know I did everything I could for this city and our fans when I was here, but hey people have their own views own opinions about some things I can’t predict that.”

Michael Vick is hoping for the best. It will be his first appearance in front of the Falcons' fans since he served time for dog fighting. He said, “I am very excited. I wasn’t too excited during the week, but once we landed on the plane the feeling was real.”

Vick was considered one of the most exciting players in the league. Two year ago, he pleaded guilty to running a dog fighting ring from his home. Federal prosecutors said Vick oversaw “Bad Newz Kennels” and helped kill dogs that did not make the cut. He served 18 months in federal prison and house arrest. His house arrest ended over the summer. The Eagles picked him up and he has filled the role as backup quarterback.

Of Vick’s return Falcons’ fan Al Adams said, “It will be emotional there will be a lot of emotion. He has a lot of fans in Atlanta.”

Fintus Adeboye said, “I think he’s paid his dues to society, so I think he should move on and I think the NFL should move on to.”

Mat Silva said, “I think the Falcons did the right thing in letting him go, but as I said I am more interested in the game. But it will be interesting how the Georgia Dome reacts hopefully they won’t cheer too much for him.”

Vick said suiting up for a different team at the Georgia Dome will feel different. Vick said, “It’s going to be different going in on the opposite side. I can’t really tell you what will be going through my head.”

He played for six seasons for the Falcons and says he considers Atlanta his second home. It remains to be seen if the fans agree.
