Report: Bibby To Return To Hawks

(Sports Network) - Atlanta Hawks forward Mike Bibby will reportedly return to the team with a new three-year deal.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Bibby's deal is worth an estimated $18 million.

Per league rules, no free agent contracts can be signed until Wednesday.

Bibby, 31, has guided the Hawks to two playoff appearances since being acquired from Sacramento during the 2007-08 season. Atlanta lost in the first round to Boston in 2008 but advanced to the second round in 2009 before falling to Cleveland.

Last season, the point guard averaged 14.9 points, 5.0 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 79 regular season games. In 11 seasons with the Grizzlies, Kings and Hawks, Bibby has career averages of 16.4 points and 6.1 assists in 802 games.
