Christopher King
Christopher King joined CBS Atlanta News as a general assignment reporter in January of 2007.Before joining CBS Atlanta, Christopher worked at CNN and CBS Newspath as a freelance reporter.At CNN, he covered the JonBenet Ramsey story in Boulder, Colorado; the Sago Mine disaster in West Virginia, and the Scooter Libby indictment in the nation’s capital.Throughout his career, Christopher has reported on major events across the United States, including on-the-scene coverage of the September 11th terrorist attacks.Prior to CNN, Christopher was a reporter with WNBC-TV in New York, where his assignments included the Martha Stewart and Bernie Ebbers verdicts, along with the northeast blackout of 2003.King was also a reporter with News 12 New Jersey, where he covered stories ranging from the anthrax scare of 2001 to racial profiling to political campaigns - including the state’s 2001 gubernatorial race and the 2002 battle for the Senate.Christopher broke into television news as a producer with CBS Newspath.
