Atlanta native Adam Murphy is the CBS Atlanta News Consumer Investigative reporter. If you’ve been ripped off or scammed, he’s there to help you solve that frustrating consumer problem.

He’s also known throughout the Atlanta metro area for his weekly Restaurant Report Card segment, which can be seen online HERE.

Adam is a native of Dunwoody and graduated from Marist High School. “It’s great to be back in my hometown of Atlanta working as the consumer reporter for CBS Atlanta. I’ve always enjoyed helping people and I’m thankful my job allows me to make a difference.”

His alma mater is the University of Georgia, where he earned his BA degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Adam began his TV news career as a reporter in Macon with WMAZ-TV, has worked as a consumer reporter and anchor at WLTX-TV in Columbia, SC, and has also reported on a TV series that aired on ESPN2.
