ATLANTA -- Atlanta homicide detectives have arrested and charged two suspects with murder after the shooting death of a woman in a Southwest Atlanta apartment complex Sunday.

A third suspect was arrested and charged with assault following another incident at the same apartment Sunday.

Atlanta police Lt. Keith Meadows told CBS Atlanta police were called to the apartment on Beeler Drive for a report of shots fired after an altercation inside an apartment.

The subjects were gone when police arrived, but later returned. According to police, shots were fired again, this time at a woman outside the apartment.

The victim was pronounced dead at Grady Hospital.
