1 Injured When Van Crashes Into Tractor-Trailer

OAK GROVE, Ky. -- One person was killed Tuesday afternoon in a crash on Interstate 24 near Oak Grove, Ky.
Police said a van going west crossed the median and hit a tractor-trailer that was hauling sand.Wreckage from the crash covered the eastbound lanes and caused traffic to back up.Police diverted traffic off the interstate at exit 89.One person in the van, a 63-year-old Winder, Ga. man, was killed. Another suffered minor injuries.
