ATLANTA -- CNN is reporting that Tiger Woods will pull out of his own golf tournament scheduled to take place this weekend.

Woods was injured in a single vehicle car accident at his home in Florida on Friday.

"I am extremely disappointed that I will not be at my tournament this week," Woods said of the Chevron World Challenge in California. "I am certain it will be an outstanding event and I'm very sorry that I can't be there."

There has been much speculation as to the events surrounding Woods' accident and Woods has refused to speak with the police.
