CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -- CBS Atlanta was given exclusive access to an undercover prostitution bust in Clayton County.

Luis Guerraro admits why he is in handcuffs. He says, “I asked you know one lady for sex.”

He was one of the first arrested in an undercover sting. Clayton County Police are cracking down on people soliciting prostitutes. Four female officers dressed up as hookers. Uniformed officers were watching from close by and were ready for the take down.

Police conduct these operations occasionally to deter crime. One of the officers says the sting helps slow the crime down. It also helps push out prostitution which is an illegal activity that is also often accompanied by drugs and other illegal crimes.

More than forty officers were involved with the sting. They arrested more than a dozen men and one woman. Each one faces a misdemeanor charge of pandering. Their cars were also searched and the led to some also facing drug charges.

Police say the long-term message of keeping crime off the streets is invaluable Luis Guerraro got the message, though he wishes he got something else.
