LILBURN, Ga. -- The Lilburn City Council will take up a controversial proposed mosque Wednesday night.Council members will decide if land should be rezoned.The city’s planning commission has already recommended against it.The proposed mosque and cemetery would be located off Lawrenceville Highway and would back into a neighborhood along Hood Road.The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Gwinnett Justice Center.
