NORCROSS, Ga. -- A spa in Gwinnett County was busted for offering more than massages, police said. Police say Great Health Spa in Norcross was a front for a house of prostitution. This was the fifth bust in a year and a half, yet they were allowed to keep a business license, police said.Reporter Jennifer Mayerle asked Tyler Hird, who works nearby, "What do you think is going on in there?”“Let's just say happy endings,” answered Hird. The arrests didn't come as much of a surprise to people who work near the spa.“They have a lot of frequent customers with really nice cars that come through here. They look around the whole time as they walk in, you know, and as they leave they look around to make sure nobody's watching,” said Hird. The spa closed Wednesday after an undercover Gwinnett County police officer went to the spa for a massage to make sure the spa was on the up and up. The officer said Mihae Whitney offered him sex for $240. She was charged with prostitution. She and two others are charged with keeping a place of prostitution.“That stuff can happen anywhere if you hide it right,” said Miles Nicholson, who came to the area to return movies.CBS Atlanta News has learned 12 arrests have been made during five busts at the spa over the last year and a half.“It’s sad to say they shouldn't be in business especially after how many times they've been busted,” said Jenny Alexander, who works nearby.Mayerle asked the Gwinnett County business license office why they were allowed to stay open. They told Mayerle revoking a business license is a lengthy process and they have to wait for a guilty plea or a conviction before taking it.The person who holds the spa's license sent the license office a letter Wednesday letting them know they are closing the spa and are forfeiting their license.
