Police: Jeffrey Few's Mother Pretended To Be His Father

GALVESTON, Texas -- A Henry County boy and his mother, who police said lied to get him out of school early, were located in Galveston, Tx., late Fridy night, according to a police statement that was released Monday.Henry County police issued three arrest warrants for Jennifer Cook, 31.Cook is accused of sending an email to the her son's school last month, pretending to be his father. The e-mail asked to make her son, Jeffrey William Few, a car rider.Cook, who does not have custody of the child, picked Jeffrey up from Flippen Elementary School in Henry County. Jeffrey is normally in the school's afterschool program..“We have an e-mail from the school from a fraudulent account that was the same as my e-mail account, but with one additional letter. With that fraudulent information sent to the administration, it looked like I told them to send the son out, but obviously I didn't. It was deception,” said Shawn Few, Jeffrey’s father.Cook also had a warrant out for her arrest out of Butts County on an unrelated matter.
