A state trooper’s dash cam video showed the chairman of the Carroll County Commission being pulled over on suspicion of drunken driving.

CBS Atlanta obtained the Georgia State Patrol video on Wednesday, which showed Commission Chairman Bill Chappell being pulled over last Thursday at a roadblock on Georgia Highway 5 at Duncan Road.

The trooper was shown giving Chappell a breathalyzer test. According to sources, Chappell blew a .071. In Georgia, a person is considered drunk if their alcohol level is .08.

The trooper did not arrest Chappell. Instead, the trooper was seen on the video giving Chappell a warning and following him home, which is a half-mile away.

Chappell has not commented on the incident.
