Atlanta police said on Thursday that two men arrested after a wild police chase are part of a crew stealing expensive blue jeans from area stores.

The men were identified late Thursday as Dominique Copeland, 21, and Quantavious Guffie, 18. Both men face numerous felony charges.

Police said four vehicles were involved in the Thursday chase-- a dark SUV that crashed into a building and three other vehicles that were damaged.

Investigators said they believe Copeland and Guffie are part of the crew that tried to rob the eModa boutique in Buckhead earlier Thursday, but werer foiled by the store's security system. The men, who police said are members of the gang 30 Deep, were also allegedly involved in other boutique robberies, according to investigators.

"For these guys, it's a game to them. It's a joke," said boutique owner Adrene Ashford, whose store has been robbed four times in the past six months.

Police said the chase started when they tried to pull over the two men, who were driving near Fulton and Formwalt streets. Instead of stopping, the men hit the gas, police said.

“I was making a turn and that's when a white van hit me,” said driver Sylvester Mayfield. “It just came out of nowhere.”

Mayfield said his mom and sister were hurt in the accident.

The men tried to run, but were quickly arrested.

"I am happy about that. Hopefully, they will fall like dominoes," Ashford said.
