ACWORTH, Ga. -- A bear was spotted in an Acworth subdivision earlier this week.

CBS Atlanta viewer April Lester took pictures of a bear rummaging through the trash in the Dallas Landing neighborhood.

Lester said the bear never seemed to pose a threat.

Just last month, a bear was spotted in a Dacula neighborhood. The bear knocked over a bird feeder but didn't hurt anybody.

Officials haven’t confirmed if it was the same bear that was seen in Acworth.
