Buckhead Stores Targeted By Thieves

ATLANTA -- Thieves smashed their way into several Buckhead stores Monday, and took items including flatscreen TVs and expensive jeans.Atlanta police said thieves used a rock to smash through the front window of the Blue Genes Boutique near Lenox Square Mall around 5 a.m.Dozens of pairs of jeans were stolen, investigators said.The owners said this was the seventh time the store has been robbed."I was saying to my sisters, the first time we were a lot more traumatized and then you become angry and now, it's just, what do you do anymore?" said co-owner Jennifer Arrendale.Police said they have made no arrests.No one was inside the store when the robbery happened.Arrendale said the shopping center has a security guard."He said he was afraid to get out of his truck," accoridng to Arrendale. " I don't know what to do anymore."Thieves also targeted the Wolf Camera on West Paces Ferry Road and took several flatscreen televisions.
