A father vanished while on his way to see his little girl.

His family is desperate after six days with no word from him.

Brandon Patton was traveling from Buckhead to Tampa to see his 3-year-old daughter, but never made it there.

A tip came in Wednesday that police hope will help them find this missing father.

Brandon's truck was seen in central Florida on Saturday with two men.

His family hopes this new lead will help locate their loved one.

Deborah: “I'm scared for my son and what might of happened,” said Brandon’s mother Deborah Patton.

Brandon was heading to Tampa to take his 3-year-old daughter Madison camping, but he never made it.

Glen Hicks in Lakeland, Florida is providing the first break in the missing person case.

On Saturday two men approached him at his home asking if he wanted to buy some meat out of the back of a pick-up.

“In 3 minutes time they went from $399 for the 2 cases to $120 and then as he's packing it up, he said, “Just make me an offer,’” said Hicks.

Suspicious, Hicks wrote down the plate number.

The men were in Patton's 1997 tan or gold Chevy S-10 with Georgia plate number ATL9105.

“They seemed real nervous, they seemed real nervous,” said Hicks.

That worries Brandon's boss Craig Fitch. He's the owner of metro Atlanta catering where Brandon is the executive chef.

Fitch says Brandon still hasn't cashed his paycheck from March 31st.

“More than anything else, he could blow off everything else in life but not his daughter,” said Fitch. “That's his whole life.”

Madison's mom says disappearing is totally out of character for Brandon.

“I just hope I don't have to tell her something happened to her daddy. I just hope I don't have to tell her that,” said Carol.

Brandon's boss thinks he may not have ever gotten out of Atlanta. He didn't show up to work on Friday or to pick up his camping gear.

Atlanta police are still treating this as a missing person case.

Brandon's family created a Myspace page to help find him. You can check out http://www.myspace.com/465517899.
