Search For Waffle House Escapee Continues
Police: Chris Gay Escaped From Waffle House And Ran Toward College

COBB COUNTY, Ga. -- The search continued Wednesday for an escaped suspect who caused Kennesaw State University to lock down and Tuesday.A Coffee County officer stopped at the Waffle House on Frey Road to get Chris Gay food when Gay got out of his restraints and fled toward the college, investigators saidGay was wanted for larceny and was being transported to a jail in Tennessee.Gay was seen fleeing toward Kennesaw State's student union.Gay is a 30-year-old white male, approximate height 5'1, with black pants, a blue jacket, and black hair. Police don't believe he's armed.If you see him, please call 770-423-6666 or 911 immediately.
