Four Schools Were Locked Down After Shooting

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -- A shooting in Peachtree City on Ridgeland Dr. had four schools on lockdown Thursday afternoon.Huddleston Elementary, J. C. Booth Middle School, Oak Grove Elementary and Braelinn Elementary were placed on lockdown after the shooting.Berry-Dreisbach said no injuries or sightings were reported at any of the schools.Peachtree City police said they are searching for the suspect in a shooting that sent one person to the hospital Thursday afternoon.The victim of the shooting was taken to a local hospital by helicopter. There is no word on the victim's condition.Peachtree City is 30 miles south of Atlanta.CBS Atlanta has a crew on the scene and CBSAtlanta.com will have more information as it becomes available.
