ATLANTA -- The National Weather Services said a small tornado damaged Haralson County High School Wednesday. The storm was an "EF-0", which means winds are between 65 and 85 mph.Students were sent home after storms damaged the school's main building, including the cafeteria. The Storm Prediction Center said a 50-foot section of the building collapsed. The center said two other buildings were also damaged.CBS 46 spoke with a student who caught some eerie pictures with his phone camera. The phone captured the funnel cloud sweeping through the parking lot just outside.Inside, frightened students scream, not knowing if the fast-moving winds will sweep their way."It was pretty scary. I was scared," said student Dylan Brown.Brown shot the video on his camera phone. He says he was just trying to get some pictures of the rain when he saw a cone-shaped cloud veering menacingly, side to side."All of a sudden you see this big black tornado go by. See it curve. It takes a bunch of wood out of my friend's truck and throws it across the parking lot," said Brown.Tallapoosa, not far from the Alabama border, had been under a tornado watch.Air conditioning ducts litter the ground at the school after powerful winds flipped over an 8-ton air conditioning unit on the roof sending debris cascading to the ground and rupturing gas lines. The winds snapped trees, tore down fences, and toppled the school's scoreboard."I obviously count our blessings. We are very fortunate no one was injured today," said school superintendent Brett Stanton.Authorities said trees were knocked down and power is out across the county.Brown says he's glad the twisting cloud didn't turn in his direction."I'm feeling pretty good. I'm glad I have something to remember it by," said Brown.
