If you’re more of a movie buff, most theaters offer mid-week discounts, so catch a flick on Wednesday for the best price. The same is true at amusement parks.

Restaurants typically have the best selections at the best prices on Tuesday nights.

But if you want to stay home and eat, head to the grocery stores Sunday through Tuesday when you can combine the Sunday coupons with the week's sales.

Gas prices are falling, but if you want to get the very best price industry experts say get gas Thursday mornings before 10 am when gas demand is low and before station change the prices. You will get the best deal.

The same game works for big ticket items like cars. Dealers love the weekend foot traffic, but when things really die down and dealers really want to make a sale, Monday may be your best time to get a good deal on a car.
