A high speed chase turned police standoff ended in Marietta on Wednesday with the arrest of three men.

Walter Johns, 18, of Atlanta is charged with probation violation, traffic charges, and obstruction of justice. Vaughn Clark, 26, and a 16-year-old Marietta teen were also charged with obstruction.

SWAT team members were called to a house Pair Road off of Hidden Valley Road.

It started when a Cobb police officer tried to pull over a Chevy Corsica for speeding.

When the driver of the Corsica didn’t stop, the officer gave chase.

The car then crashed into a tree and the three black men that were in the car ran into the house.

Police said the standoff ended peacefully.

The teen and Clark both lived at the house where the three took refuge.
