More children have come forward saying they were molested by a former Boy Scout leader and Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce member.

CBS 46 News was the first to break the story about Brett Taylor, 44. He's accused of molesting young boys during a sleepover at his home in Lawrenceville.

Gwinnett County police have not said how many more victims or just how many more warrants will be served against Taylor, who is now in custody.

“The number of victims, the acts that are alleged, it seems like a pretty predatory pattern that this guy's engaged to,” said Gwinnett County District Attorney Danny Porter.

Just last week seven victims came forward ranging in ages from 6 to 9 years old.

A week before that, Taylor was arrested after a boy's mother told police that Taylor touched her 8-year-old son inappropriately.

The alleged incident happened at a home on Bergen Court in Lawrenceville where Taylor hosted a sleepover as a scout leader that investigators said turned sexual.

During the investigation, police learned Taylor had been molesting another family over what they called an “extended period of time.”

“This is one of the more serious cases we've run across in terms of this idea of betrayal of trust,” said Porter.

Taylor resigned from his post with the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce and the county's library board. He was also permanently suspended from his Cub Scout leader duties-after he was arrested.

“There's been a motion for bond filed which my office will oppose, and until he has a bond hearing, he is in jail without bond,” said Porter.

Porter said while he doesn't feel the suspect would be a flight risk, based on the number of charges and the likelihood of re-offending, Taylor poses a danger to the community.

Taylor is being held without bond at the Gwinnett County Detention Center.
