Report: Allegations Go Back To 1990s

An investigator's report details alleged sexual encounters involving the former chief administrator of Cobb County Superior Court and young women who worked for him.

The 48-page report released Tuesday by a special investigator hired by the county alleges that Skip Chesshire, 54, had sex at the courthouse, including in a judge's chambers, and sexual encounters at hotels during business hours in the 23 years he worked for the court.

Chesshire, who is married, worked for the Superior Court judges. Chesshire left his job in February when the allegations surfaced.

The allegations go back to the 1990s and involve women who were 18 and 19 years old at the time.

Chesshire and his attorney, Diane Woods, declined to comment on the report.

The county has named a former Cobb County district attorney, Tom Charron, to replace Chesshire.
